Donnie Adams

I'm 25 and a transgender digital/traditional artist from Tasmania. I've only been living in Melbourne less than a year and both my mind and my creative drive love it here. I mostly draw cartoony creatures while also adding a psychedelic style into my work.
Dude, Where Are My Hands? (2019)

A surrealist piece of mine created after taking acid.
The positives of the experience laid out all my values and thoughts and what mattered most to me, emphasising to put myself first and to not hide away true feelings in spite of my mental health and well-being. I later came out as transgender on Facebook afterwards.

A vision that came to me as I was drifting off asleep of a monstrosity that most would consider unsightly and something to be rid of.

Nevertheless, it has raw persistence.
